(Updated for Immediate Release November 22, 2020) Little Miami Gig (LMGig) continued to expand its fiber facilities and customer base in its Morrow-Butlerville service area.
CTS Construction, has wrapped up initial construction is Salem and Harlan Townships along Middleboro and Edwardsville roads. LMGig has brought on two new construction teams to build branches off this initial path. LMGig continue to build it self-reliance by adding directional drilling and additional excavation equipment to its construction assets. LMGig Installation and Repair Teams continue to be busy installing drops and turning up customers.
LMGig has turned up over 90 Customer's since accepting the facilities. The most popular plan is LMGig R0250 (250 Mbps Down/50 Mbps Up) with ~60% of subscribers adopting while the balance of ~40% are split evenely between LMGig's R0500 (500 Mbps Down/100Mbps Up) and R1000 (1000 Mbps Down/250 Mbps Up) plans. All of LMGig's plans allow for unlimited monthly usage (No Caps) of data (bytes).
At the same time engineering and mapping teams are actively working to design branches off our existing routes to further expand our coverage. LMGig and its contractors' construction crews have commenced construction on these branches inside the village of Morrow as well as to the East of Morrow.
Data Center: The Data Center is active through diverse connectivity upstream to the public Internet through a multigigabit service. Little Miami Gig is actively delivering Internet-over-Fiber to residents in the Morrow-Butlerville serving area,
Subscriptions: Customer activations on the initial Middleboro and Edwardsville Roads have been completed. We will now be focusing on accelerating construction and activations on branch routes by adding crews and equipment to improve our efficiency.
If you've received an agreement for service but haven't yet returned or requested changes, we encourage you to do so at your earliest opportunity.
